Terms & Conditions

Effective date: July 19, 2026

By downloading or using GoalBall, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written in plain English and kept as short as possible.

1. Who we are

GoalBall ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered football coaching application available on iOS. By creating an account or using the app, you ("you", "the user") enter into a legal agreement with GoalBall under these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GoalBall. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has read and agreed to these terms on your behalf. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with others or use someone else's account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@goalball.live if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. The service

GoalBall provides AI-powered training plans, technique analysis using your device's camera, and social features. The AI coaching is designed to support your development — it is not a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, or injury assessment. Always exercise within your own physical limits.

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the service at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. User content

You retain ownership of any content you create in the app (your profile information, training notes, etc.). By using GoalBall's social features, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to display your public content (name, username, overall rating, session summaries) to other users in accordance with your privacy settings.

Video clips you record during drill sessions are processed entirely on-device. They are not uploaded to our servers and we claim no rights over them.

7. Intellectual property

All other content in the app — including the coaching engine, Player Card design, training blueprints, and branding — is owned by or licensed to GoalBall. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

8. Subscriptions and payments

Some features of GoalBall require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are governed by Apple's terms of sale. All subscription management (upgrades, downgrades, cancellations) happens through your Apple ID settings. We do not have access to your payment details.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

GoalBall is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI analysis will be accurate in all conditions. Use of the service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoalBall and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, including any physical injury resulting from following training advice.

11. Termination

You may stop using GoalBall at any time. You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, without prior notice.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in-app or by email. Continued use of GoalBall after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
